Fehler scheint auch bei LEDE aufzutreten. Auffällig ist, das es bei Geräten mit nur einen LAN Anschluss passiert.

Eben passiert mit einer Bullet-M und einem WA850RE. Diverse andere Router (841 v7 v8 und 842) liefen nach dem Flashen wieder problemlos hoch.

Leider waren das remote Updates so das ich kein serielles Log habe.

Ich habe gerade die Firmware auf zwei Ubiquiti Nanostation M per Remote (Web UI/IPv6 über Router in der gleichen Hood) geupdatet (20160310 auf 20170110).

Dabei hatte ich in beiden Fällen das Problem, dass das Update keinen Neustart der Nanostation ausgelöst hat, sondern diese einfach nicht mehr aus dem Netz erreichbar war (> 1h Wartezeit, auch offline im Monitoring). Ich musste dann vor Ort anrufen und den Gaststättenbetreiber bitten, jeweils den Stecker rauszuziehen und wieder reinzustecken. Danach war die Firmware aktuell und alles, wie es sein sollte.
 
(Alle WR841N 10/11 haben das gleiche Prozedere ohne Probleme durchlaufen, es liegt also wohl an der Nanostation).

Hab inzwischen vier Nanostations geupdatet und musste in allen Fallen manuell neu starten (2x WebUI, 2x SSH).

Nie beobachtet bei WR841n (>10 Updates...)

Firmware immer 20170110.

Da ich leider nicht editieren kann: Meine zuvor geschilderten Fälle waren alle PICOstations M2, keine Nanostations.

Habe nun die entsprechenden Geräte von 20170110 auf eine Custom-Variante der 20170218-alpha mit Patches aktualisiert und hatte diesmal bei fünf Geräten keinen einzigen Ausfall. (Alles Remote per WebUI).

Ob das jetzt an der neueren Firmware liegt oder Zufall war: Keine Ahnung.

Habe bei einer Nanostation Loco M2 und der 20170918-beta auch keine Probleme mehr feststellen können. Fährt sauber nach dem flashen hoch.

Hab eine Pico M2HP mit der 20170918-beta per webui-remote und sysupgrade aktualisiert. Fährt ohne Probleme hoch. Gerät hat nur WLAN mesh - kein WAN uplink.
